Why CNN is fake news

CNN had a brazen headline on an article written by Chris Cillizza recently that declared, "Donald Trump warns people to beware of non-existent voter fraud", leaving little or no doubt about the position the alleged news network would be taking on the subject of voter fraud in the coming election. And what might be the problem with this headline, you ask? Well, claiming that voter fraud doesn't exist ought to mean that no matter how hard I try, I shouldn't be able to search the internet and find an article listing ten examples of voter fraud, should I? Perhaps the question I should be asking is this: why doesn't Chris Cillizza appear to know how to use a search engine? Why can a woefully underpaid professional writer like me find pertinent information that completely escaped the attention of an overpaid media personality like Cillizza so easily? photo by CNN When I read the news from legitimate news sources not named CNN, I can find articles claiming that Habersham County here in Georgia had a whopping 243 percent voter turnout. In Detroit, 37 percent of the reporting precincts had more votes than registered voters in a recent election, so the problem isn't isolated. I shouldn't be able to type "voter fraud convictions" and find stories about a voter fraud scandal for profit orchestrated by Democrats in Texas, should I? Yet I can find numerous examples of voter fraud by searching online rather easily. Maybe Chris Cillizza only uses Google, which appears to censor content by manipulating search results. For example, when I typed "voter fraud" in Google's search … [Read more...]

A black life that mattered

On Saturday, October 20, 2018 in broad daylight, Gwinnett County police officer Antwan Toney was murdered in cold blood. He was investigating the report of a suspicious vehicle at the intersection of Bethany Church Road and Shiloh Road, not too far from metropolitan Atlanta. Officer Toney never had a chance--on his approach toward the stopped vehicle, one or more of the occupants inside opened fire, fatally wounding him. The California native recently celebrated his 30th birthday and was only six days shy of celebrating his third anniversary of service with the Gwinnett County Police Department. My question is pretty simple--did his life matter? If not, why not?  It certainly matters to me. I happen to live in Gwinnett County. This man died helping keep people like me safe from violent criminals. But you know who probably doesn't care about this man's murder? The people involved in the Black Lives Matter movement. They only seem to care about criminals and the rare innocent victim, and only then according to the color of their skin. They only see Officer Toney's uniform and ignore the smiling, handsome young man wearing it. Officer Antwan Toney However, if suspected gunman Tafarhee Maynard is killed resisting arrest by police who know he's already murdered one of their brothers in blue, you can bet your bottom dollar that the BLM will be protesting his death. Obviously, the leadership of the Black Lives Matter movement doesn't care about every black life. They only care when deadly force is used by the police, not by criminals. That's why I loathe the BLM … [Read more...]

Amy Schumer: a portrait in liberal hypocrisy

Amy Schumer is a Hollywood actress and comedian who made her film debut in 2015 by starring in the movie Trainwreck.  As this article continues, please do not forget that she also wrote the script for the movie. The photo below shows Amy with a couple of other protestors at the Senate confirmation hearing for Judge (now Supreme Court Justice) Brett Kavanaugh. Ms. Schumer later agreed to be arrested by the police. Now if her last name sounds awfully familiar even though you've never seen Ms. Schumer perform, you'd be correct if you guessed it was because her uncle is none other than Democrat Senate Minority Leader Chuck (You) Schumer. Before we unpack the idea of Ms. Schumer protesting the appointment of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court, let's take a little bit closer look at the plot of her big Hollywood debut, and the script she wrote. In fact, we can learn all we need to know simply by watching the official trailer. Note that her character (named Amy) says in a voice over, I'm just a modern chick who does what she wants. Last week, it was this guy. Wow. What a great role model! </sarcasm> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y_KP9x80Z9Q Ms. Schumer plays a woman who frequently gets drunk and has shallow sexual encounters with a never-ending succession of strange men. If her character had been male, he would have (or at least should have) been labeled a Lothario or Casanova personality who should be understood to be a sexual predator, or seen as a serious alcoholic with low self-esteem and a complete lack of control over his inhibitions. In real … [Read more...]

Bulldog pride

There are 365 days in a year, except leap years. Normally I'm proud to be a Georgia Bulldog fan (and alumnus) for at least 350 of them, I'm guessing on average. As for those other days, well, the problem isn't my alma mater. Nor has it been the football team, the basketball team, swim team, or tennis team that embarrassed me. Instead, the problem tends to be a minority of others who also call themselves Bulldog fans, but fail to understand the concept of winning with integrity and losing with dignity. In the spirit of full disclosure, I will confess that I haven't actually watched the LSU game yet because my oldest nephew's wedding was in California last Sunday. While Georgia was on the field in Baton Rouge, I was flying coast to coast from Atlanta to L.A. for the rehearsal dinner. Even so, I don't need to watch the replay to know most of what happened: turnovers, mistakes, a couple of bad calls by the officials, perhaps a key injury or two, penalties, and missed opportunities. Of course, that also pretty much describes every agonizing Bulldog loss that I've watched over the course of my lifetime. By the time I'd landed in L.A., a friend of mine had killed the battery on my cell phone with text messages giving me score updates as I navigated my way from LAX to Malibu. So without watching the replay I already know we stopped LSU on fourth down but the home team got the call. But no matter how you try to spin the tale, that one bad call didn't make the difference in a game lost by three touchdowns. These days, it seems that without any rules or restrictions, any idiot … [Read more...]

The sigil of Baphomet

You probably won't recognize his name, but in late September Jordan Hunt was the man caught on video kicking a woman while she peacefully protested against abortion. If you haven't seen the clip already, I've embedded it below for your convenience. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VkrNVol0UAo If you just watched the video, I hope you noticed how Hunt prepared himself to strike that the 34 second mark, but didn't actually deliver the blow until two full seconds later. He took his time and telegraphed what he was doing. Hunt immediately claimed it was an accident and that he only meant to kick the phone from her hand, but it's difficult to give this repeat offender the benefit of the doubt. You see, this wasn't the first time Hunt physically assaulted an abortion protestor. One month earlier he had been identified on another video as the man aggressively charging into the street to attack a different female abortion protester over a sign she was holding. Hunt has been arrested by Toronto police and charged with eight counts of assault. He'll have his day in court. However, I don't want to talk about the assaults or the motivation for them (abortion) at the moment. I want everyone to look at the necklace Hunt is wearing in the video. It's a pentagram. Coincidentally, the official symbol of the Church of Satan is an inverted five-point star called the sigil of Baphomet, as shown below. The sigil also adorns the cover of The Satanic Bible. It's a very important symbol to Satanism. Granted, Hunt may not even realize what he's wearing. The camera never gets … [Read more...]
