According to Roman Catholic theology, limbo is a place where the souls of people who haven’t been baptized into the Christian faith must go when they die. Since we are going to be talking about human beings and I know I’m not supposed to judge other people, this article won’t be speculating about whether or not liberal extremists will end up in heaven, hell, or limbo. I don’t think limbo is the same thing as purgatory, but I’m not a Catholic, and therefore not an expert on the faith by any means.
Perhaps more relevant, there is also a dance contest that originated in Trinidad called the limbo. Participants bend over backwards and compete to see who can go the lowest under a horizontal bar that continues to be dropped slightly with each successful pass. That definition of the word seems to be more apropos for this article, so we’ll stick with the conceptual image of political dancing under a bar constantly getting closer to the ground.
Liberal extremists hate everyone who isn’t a liberal extremists, which includes conservatives, religious people, the police, and most other authority figures. Liberal extremists include most Greens, radical environmentalists, Antifa, BAMN, Black Lives Matter, the “Squad” in Congress, an overwhelming majority of the lamestream media, and a disturbing number of RINOs.
In my entire lifetime, I’ve never seen the degree of hatred and disrespect shown toward a U.S. president that could compare to what has been said by television and print “journalists” about President Donald Trump. Nine out of every ten stories reported about President Trump put a negative spin on the details. Chris Matthews and George Stephanopoulos both served as political operatives for the Democratic Party before they allegedly became unbiased journalists, and CNN can’t seem to resist any opportunity to hire a former Obama administration official as a political pundit, even if that person faces possible indictment.
What do liberal extremists love? Extreme ideas and extreme behavior. Abortion on demand, even post-birth. Gay marriage. Attacking the Constitutional rights of other citizens, with the eventual goal of having them taken away. Liberal extremists love the idea that men can declare themselves “transgender” to compete against women in sports and exploit their grotesquely unfair biological advantage to “dominate” the competition.
Now I’m using the term “liberal extremist” in the attempt to avoid offending my friends on social media who consider themselves liberals, but it should be obvious that the term applies to most celebrities and politicians who call themselves liberals these days, but I don’t believe the majority of people who think of themselves as liberals are extremists. I used to think of myself as a fiscal conservative and social liberal because I have supported the decriminalization and legalization of marijuana since I was a teenager because I think it is a harmless drug and victimless crime. Eventually I realized that meant I was not a liberal, but a libertarian.
Liberal extremists love to call anyone with whom they disagree “Hitler” even though none of them seem to have the slightest clue about history or what it actually meant to wear a brown shirt in the 1930s. If they did, the liberal extremists would grasp the delicious irony of their violent mobs trying to intimidate their perceived ideological competition, with masked assailants wielding blunt instruments screaming “Nazi!” at their victims while attacking and beating them bloody.
Consider the recent brouhaha involving NFL quarterback Drew Brees, for merely recording the following message to children on behalf of the Christian group Focus on the Family: “Hey guys. One of my favorite verses in the Bible is 2ndCorinthians 5:7, which says, “We live by faith, not by sight. So I want to encourage you to live out your faith on “Bring your Bible to school” day and share God’s love with friends. You’re not alone.”
Was that really so terrible?
Theoretically, the problem wasn’t with the message nor the messenger, but the sponsor of the message. Gay activists immediately blasted the Saint and forced him to apologize. Sadly, Brees eventually capitulated to the relentless media pressure and condemned Focus on the Family as a “hate group”, simply because the organization supports the traditional (biblical) concept of marriage and opposed gay marriage. Liberal extremists equate simple disagreement with hate.
Consequently, what was once considered a sacred institution has now been reduced to mockery—some people have claimed to marry animals, themselves, and even inanimate objects. Gay activist Masha Gessen claimed that gay marriage is a lie and said, “Fighting for gay marriage generally involves lying about what we’re going to do with marriage when we get there. It’s a no-brainer that the institution of marriage should not exist.”
Liberal extremists don’t want true equality, unless it is equal misery. To them, equality doesn’t mean acquiring the same rights and privileges that conservatives have. It means permanently destroying those rights and privileges for conservatives. Liberal extremists believe their rights are without limits, but their political enemies have no rights. Don’t believe that radical liberals would or could ruin the career and life of a conservative simply for daring to exercise his right of free speech? Then you must not be familiar with the story of Mozilla founder Brendan Eich.
They believe it’s perfectly okay to physically assault anyone they believe is their philosophical enemy without provocation because of the purity of their ideological motives. Liberal extremists think it is perfectly reasonable to deny service in a public restaurant to a conservative, and equally acceptable to use the power of law to force a Christian baker to decorate a cake for a gay wedding.
Liberal extremists have some very confusing ideas when it comes to the concept of our Constitutional rights. Many believe that illegal aliens should be granted the same Constitutional rights as an American citizen, but American citizens can be deprived of their rights to free speech, religion, to bear arms, and even the right to wear red hats at liberal discretion.
In the liberal world, Roe versus Wade has been ruled Constitutional by the Supreme Court, making abortion legal. Frankly, if you don’t have a uterus, you have no right to express your First Amendment right to express free speech in opposition to abortion, or same sex marriage. However, the Second Amendment, preserving the Constitutional right to bear arms for almost two hundred years prior to Roe, should be subject to new restrictions based on democratic (meaning majority) rule.
Liberal extremists insist that we live in a democracy instead of a Constitutional republic as it suits their purposes. They relentlessly pursue schemes to redistribute wealth from other people to government, by any means possible. They seem to sincerely believe the “reproductive right” to kill an unborn child (what a comforting euphemism!) is more sacred than the baby’s right to life, even after birth.
They insist that climate change is an imminent catastrophe and that an overwhelming scientific consensus supports their conclusion that CO2 emissions from manmade causes will make Earth uninhabitable for humans. Most disturbingly, some liberal extremists are even willing to have climate skeptics thrown into prison.
Forty years ago, the comic British ensemble known as Monty Python released one of their most controversial projects, The Life of Brian. The liberal extremists of the day thought the movie was great because it mocked Christianity, but four decades later, the same movie couldn’t be made.
The Christian bashing would still be popular of course, but the scene above mocking transgenderism would cause apoplectic rage in the liberal extremists, and they aren’t the type to turn the other cheek. Liberal extremists tend to be proactive, not reactive, when it comes to physical violence.
The exhumation of false and scandalous accusations about Supreme Court justice Bret Kavanaugh has shown us exactly how low the liberal extremists will go to win their bizarre, twisted limbo contest to win control of the country—subterranean, if necessary. The acronym BAMN stands for exactly what these people believe—their anarchist goals must be achieved By Any Means Necessary.
I don’t think most people who consider themselves liberal are hateful extremists. I just think they’ve been brainwashed into believing that liberals are the good guys, so they must be liberal.
